He hoped they call him on a Mission...

And he got one! Spain Madrid Mission

Elder Bryce Jeppson

MTC Mailbox # 206

SPA-MAD 0421

2005 N. 900 E.

Provo, UT 84604-1793

We went to the Provo Missionary Training Center (MTC) on April 1st. Our meeting was at 12:00 PM. The meeting was for family members and the missionaries. “They” changed the meeting....no pictures in the chapel. After the hour meeting, what do you do but say "Good-bye"..... We were in the second row in the chapel, and Elder Jeppson was first person to walk out! When Bobby, Christie and Levi went to MTC, the door was in the back of the chapel. Now, the missionaries door is at the front of the chapel.

So, I kissed Bryce, then Dad hugged him, and we said

"Go"!

and I didn't cry much.

Sweet day!

My little garden 3

My pixie looks whimsy in my little garden.

When Katie made a comment on my blog, I remembered that I took two pictures with a "charming little garden statue".
Where did I get that sweet garden pixie?
I got it from Katie!
Thanks, Katie! (again)

I love my little garden 2

I wish I could figure move the pictures!

Those are the weeds I pulled!

Pretty flowers in my little garden!

See the frog? ...see it now?
That was my grandmother's frog.

Aren't they sweet?

Here is another pictureof the frog ...memories.... It is a mommy frog and a baby frog on the mommy's head (the lump is the baby).

I wish I took a picture of my Bird-of -Paradise....it is there in the corner....it is small but it will grow up to 5 or 6 feet tall.

I love my lilttle garden!

When Seth,Lindsey and Lily came to Blythe for Thanksgiving I went with them to look for a house in Gilbert. We also went to Seth's Nursery and I bought plants for my little garden, with the help of a professional! I loved seeing him in action! You can tell he loves being a horticulturist!

Seth and Lindsey planted all the plants. It looked so nice! It is a low-maintenance garden. Thanks to Seth, with his knowledge. He knew the best flowers to plant and where to put them.

I wish I took a picture that day. It has grown since that day, and I weeded it and watering it. Then the rain came and I didn't even had to watering. Then I went to Texas for a week and all the weeds grew up in my little garden. I couldn't see my flowers in my little garden!!!! I was tired from my trip and no time to weed, because we were having a Moving Sale this week. So the weeds grow stronger and taller. Oh, no!!!

So, yesterday I finally tended to my little garden. I'll get a picture or two of my little garden today. I'll post them this evening.

Thanks Lindsey and mostly Seth!

Retiring

This is a guest blog from the husband. It is official!!! I submitted my letter today. June 25th will be my last day at Palo Verde High School. I will be officially retired. What a feeling. People keep asking me why I have a big grin on my face. It is the same grin I had the day I was released as Bishop.
It is the relief grin. I now tell people that I have the answers to all of the problems in education. Retirement. Now its your problem not mine.

All we have to do is fix up and sell two properties in a bad market and then we will be ready to head to our (well, almost ours) new house in North Carolina.
